Performance of vocal and instrumental music ; no dance content. According to the program, Almamy Samory Turay (also known as Samori Toure) "was the greatest West African leader of the 19th century -- 'the Napoleon of the Sudan' -- and the finest example of African dignity expressed in resistance."
