Choreographer Elaine Gardner and musician/executive director Curt Steinzor discuss the aims and achievements of their Buffalo-based company and their collaboration as artists. Brown, a songwriter and performer, talks about black music in the U.S. and surveys some high points of his own career. He and his son perform an excerpt from the play In the beginning.
