Content: Costume design by Jean Bérain for a man in the Quinault-Lully ballet, Le triomphe de l'amour.
Full-length to front, head facing left; in open position, both arms extended to side, palms open. Wearing a costume of boots, tight breeches, with a decorated overskirt, hanging sleeves, shoulder draped cloak, and turban-shaped plumed hat. Tropical landscape background with water, a town, rising sun, and four figures, one on horseback.
