Content: Videotaped in performance for the Jerome Robbins Archive of the Recorded Moving Image by Jay Millard, with the assistance of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and New York State Council on the Arts, at New York State Theater, New York, on June 9, 1990 (matinee), during the New York City Ballet's Festival of Jerome Robbins' Ballets. Close shot version; for wide shot, see *MGZIC 9-2433A.
Creation/Production Credits: Choreography: Jerome Robbins. Music: Claude Debussy (Six épigraphes antiques, orchestrated by Ernest Ansermet; Syrinx). Costumes: Florence Klotz. Lighting: Jennifer Tipton.
Performers: Performed by members of the New York City Ballet: Maria Calegari, Stephanie Saland, Simone Schumacher, Wendy Whelan, with Heidi Gans, Monique Meunier, Teresa Reyes, Santhe Tsetsilas. Flute soloist for Syrinx: Andrew Lolya. New York City Ballet Orchestra conducted by Hugo Fiorato.
