Bound in pigskin, elaborately blind stamped, with borders on both covers incorporating the monogram HP; with initials, H.V.W., and date, 1575, stamped on front cover.
With bookplates of Georgius Kloss and Charles F. Cox.
Illustrations and plates, many with movable parts, are mostly colored.
