Description
Mikhail Baryshnikov and White Oak Dance Project perform excerpts from Past Forward, a retrospective and celebration of Judson Dance. Several works alternate with video sequences created by Charles Atlas; these usually include a quick description by its choreographer. Public participation is part of the program: local dancers and community members take part in "The Matter". This recording includes an improvisation performed by Simone Forti. Audible 'hum' at the beginning of the recording, continuing into the second performance.
