Reiss speaks about the new magazine, After dark and introduces its managing editor, William Como; William Como speaks with Reiss about Ballroom dance magazine, the predecessor of After dark, and the status of ball room (or social) dancing in the United States today; the subject-matter of After dark; including the reasons Como thinks this publication is unique; entertainment center cities in the United States; how this new publication differs from Dance magazine; the popularity of new dances, for example, the Watusi and the Frug; the subject-matter of two upcoming articles in After dark; closing remarks.
