Abstract

The Legislature has received the news that Congress approves the capture of Ticonderoga; they have just heard that Col. Arnold has taken the armed craft on Lake Champlain, and that Col. Allen has unsuccessfully attacked Fort St. John; the Legislature would strongly urge Congress to reconsider the matter of giving up Ticonderoga; they think it very important that the post should be held.
