DescriptionDocumentary on Anna Sokolow's life and work, much of it told in her own words. She is seen rehearsing and later performing in the Inbal Dance Theatre Company's production of For Anna: Tribute in dance. Her discussion of her work Dreams is accompanied by footage of rehearsals with the Dance Kaleidoscope company of Indianapolis, for which she staged the piece, as well as commentaries by co-artistic director Cherri Jaffee and dancers/choreographers Gary Masters and Fred Mathews. She is also seen setting Cave of Machpelah [Song of Machpelah], with text by Philip Diskin, on dancers of Ein Kerem Center in Jerusalem. Ziva Schochet [Shohet], Mordechai Abrahamov, and others perform excerpts from this work.
