Description
Upper left: ballet of the sleighs, set on a snowy Icelandic plain near Reykjavic, mount Hecla in the distance, the altar and statue of Loki, the god of fire, foreground right. Upper right: the palace of Loki in the heart of a mountain; a magnificent stairway leads to the crater. Lower left: the moment in the ballet in which Orfa restores to their natural shape the young girls whom Loki had transformed into rocks and flowers. Lower right: Valhalla and the stairway leading to Odin's throne. At center: Oval bust portrait of Ferraris, looking left.
