He talks about his filmmaking career and the productions of the films that he directed and/or written such as the 1983 French film "A Sunday in the country" (French: "Un dimanche à la campagne"); and the 1983 documentary film "Mississippi blues" that he co-directed together with the American filmmaker Robert Parrish; and others.
Part 3 (00:00-15:58, 25:38-30:47 minutes) and Part 4 (1:00-14:53 minutes). Lewis Archibald interviews Isabelle Huppert, French actress of stage and screen. She talks about her role of Lena in the 1983 French biographical drama film "Entre nous" ("Between us"; also known as "Coup de foudre") directed by Diane Kurys, who shares the writing credits with Olivier Cohen.
Part 4 (14:54-30:49 minutes). Lewis Archibald interviews Swedish film director Jan Troell, who talks about the 1982 Swedish biographical drama film "Flight of the eagle" (Swedish: "Ingenjör Andrées luftfärd") that he directed. The film was based on Per Olof Sundman's novelization of the true story of S. A. Andrèe's Arctic balloon expedition of 1897, an ill-fated effort to reach the North Pole in which all three expedition members perished.
