Creation/Production Credits: Music, Howard Richman with excerpts from J.S. Bach (Cello Suite no. 1 in G Major), Meredith Monk (Jade, from Songs from the Hill), Zephryn Conte (Card Memory section), and Henry Purcell (Death is a long, long Sleep) ; opening text, Marcel Proust (Remembrance of Things Past) ; poem adapted by Roger Von Oech (A Whack on the Side of the Head).
Performers: Performed by Florida International University Dance Department dancers and community members.
Venue: Videotaped in performance at Florida International University Dance Department theater, Miami, Fla. 2004 January 31.

Biographical/Historical: Premiered in its original version at UCLA as a commission from the Dance/World Arts & Cultures Department in April 1994. It premiered with its New York cast in a full-length version at the Whitney Museum of American Art at Philip Morris on March 25, 1999.

Abstract
The Memory of All That, a voice/movement/text-based work, is an on-going exploration of the interactive dynamic between the power of movement and the power of words and what occurs when both are employed simultaneously.
