Description*LDC 52783, tracks 2-8 and *LDC 52784, tracks 2-7. American actor Roy Scheider discusses his distinguished career in the entertainment industry and various productions where he played leading roles, such as Chief Martin Brody in the Hollywood blockbuster Jaws in which he co-starred with Richard Dreyfuss. He also shares his experience working with various directors and producers, collaboration with many prominent actors such as Dreyfuss, and analyzes their acting techniques and styles used in Hollywood productions as well as on Broadway. He also provides his professional opinion about other productions which he saw but in which he had no roles but saw them, such as Tender mercies (1983), directed by Bruce Beresford. Unlike many other performing arts people, Schieder refuses to talk about his family and his personal life.
