Description
Mikhail Baryshnikov, Nadia Adame, and Jacques Poulin-Denis rehearse "Construct" with choreographer Davis C. Robertson. The piece is part of a Kennedy Center performance celebrating the International Day of the Disabled; William Kennedy Smith, president of the Center for International Rehabilitation, is among the spectators. Adame and Poulin-Denis are part of AXIS Dance, a company of disabled dancers. A relaxed and humor-filled rehearsal, followed by an excerpt from the performance and a brief interview of Poulin-Denis. Good visual quality overall; the final image freezes for several seconds at the end. The complete performance can be found on *MGZIDF400.
