CONTENTS. - Part 1: Chinese popular folk dances: 1) Miao nationality's customs and dances: Lusheng (a reed-pipe wind instrument) dance; an occasion for young men and women to meet. 2) Dai nationality: Peacock dance (two versions: classical and folk) 3) Uygur nationality's dances and customs. 4) Han nationality: Yang-ge dance (with fan and handkerchief); Han-chuan (land boat); Gao-qiao (stilt dance); Yao-gu (waist drum); Pao-Liü (Play the donkey); Da Yang-ge (ensemble fan and handkerchief dance); Yao-gu dance (waist drum dance: ensemble, duet, etc.) - Part 2: The little sword union: excerpt from the prologue of the dance drama. Director: Ye Ming. Choreography: Zhang Tuo, Bai Shui, Shu Qiao, and Li Qun. Performed by the Shanghai Opera Dance Drama Company.
