Venue: Filmed for the Jerome Robbins Archive by Niels Melo and Peter Dema with the assistance of a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, at the Atlanta Civic Center on December 22, 1975. Rehearsal, in costume.
Creation/production credits: Choreography: Norbert Vesak. Assistant to the choreographer: Robert-Glay LaRose. Music: Gustav Mahler. Poem used in 1st movement: John Donne. Sets and costumes: Norbert Vesak.
Performers: Performed by members of the Atlanta Ballet: Amy Danis and Tom Pazik, with Rose Barile, Merry Clark, Kathryn McBeth, Ben Hazard, Ronald Jones, and Patrick Stines.
Funding: Preservation of this video was supported by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.
