Description
A rehearsal of "The Last Lap" with White Oak Dance Project. The rehearsal is filmed at two different angles. In the first set-up, Mikhail Baryshnikov opens the piece and is joined by the rest of the company; in the second, the main focus is the women in the company. Vision quality poor, with individual dancers hard to identify. The next clips are unrelated to this rehearsal: there is performance footage of an unidentified piece; a casual interview centered on technology (cameras, videogames); and a clip from G.W. Pabst's "The Threepenny Opera" (this last title is scratched out on the videocassette label).
