Performers: Part 1. 1st work: Tom Scott, vocals, guitar and arranger. 2nd work: Tom Scott, narrator ; Doris Johnson, harp ; Teacher's College Choir ; [Columbia University Orchestra] ; Dr. Harry Wilson, conductor ; [featuring unidentified WNYC announcer]. Part 2. 1st work: Perry Como, vocals ; Lloyd Shaffer and his orchestra. 2nd work: Martha Tilton, vocals ; with orchestra.
Venue: Broadcast WNYC-FM, recorded live at [New York] Times Hall, New York, New York 1947 February 22 (Part 1); Originally recorded V-Disc 1945 (recording date?) March 1946 (release date) (Part 2).

Description
Part 1 includes an excerpt from the closing concert of the 8th annual American Music Festival, originally broadcast by WNYC on February 22, 1947. The audio only contains two works arranged/composed by Tom Scott. Part 2 includes two Big Band favorites originally issued on V-Discs in March 1946.
