Sound quality is good. The recording is marred by extraneous noise, but the speakers' voices are loud and clear.

Interview with Gus Solomons jr, conducted by Lucile Brahms Nathanson as host, for broadcast by WHPC-FM, the radio station of Nassau Community College, on its series Making the dance scene, probably in 1976. Streaming audio file (approximately 15 minutes). Music; introduction of guest Gus Solomons jr and his background by host Lucille Brahms Nathanson; Gus Solomons jr speaks about his growing involvement in dance while a student at M.I.T.; his professional debut; continuing his training in New York; dancing for Merce Cunningham; teaching and his establishing of his own studio; his choreographing, including a new work set to Duke Ellington's music [Forty]; audiences; closing remarks and music.
