Streaming audio file (approximately 25 minutes). Walter Terry speaks about the Capezio Dance Award including prior recipients; he names the members of the Capezio Dance Award committee. Anatole Chujoy introduces Greer Garson; Garson speaks about Alexandra Danilova including her background and the first time she saw Danilova perform, in London; Greer reads aloud some passages about Danilova from a book by Walter Terry as well as a congratulatory telegram from Ted Shawn and the award citation. Danilova accepts the award with a brief speech. Ben Sommers closes the ceremony with some brief remarks.
