He comments on the Germanic tradition of the Cincinnati Symphony orchestra with whom he played and recorded music by Spanish composers. The following excerpts form his recordings with the orchestra are included in the broadcast: Interlude from the opera Vida breve by Manuel de Falla, 1 mvmt from the unfinished Symphony no. 10 in D major by Schubert, and Homenaje à Paul Dukas and final dance from ballet Three hats by Manuel de Falla.
