Biographical/historical: Merce Cunningham's Events consist of a selection from his group and solo works performed to music and decor specially arranged for that event. Each event is performed only once, and not meant to be repeated.

Description
These discs contain raw footage of an Event performed by the Merce Cunningham Dance Company in the turbine hall at the Tate Modern, filmed by miltiple cameras, including footage of the set-up for the performance, audience members, the musicians performing the score, the performance, and curtain calls. This Event included material from Ocean, Changing steps Rondo, and Change of address.
