Abstract

An interview with Ron K. Brown discussing the mechanics of founding Evidence Dance Company and its administrative structure, the dance community and venues in New York City, other possible locations in which he'd like the company to perform, and his upcoming projects. These include High Life, Walking out the Dark, and Grace. He discusses the themes in the works and generally in his choreography as well as working with the Alvin Ailey Dance company to develop Grace. Following the interview, the dancers breifly line up for pres photos then perform dress rehearsals of Brown's works Ebony Magazine and Water.
