Wood about his father Igor Stravinsky, his method of composition and musical tastes; remembrances of Sergei Diaghilev, Leonide Massine, Darius Milhaud, Serge Lifar, Misia Sert, Boris Kochno, Bronislava Nijinska, George Balanchine, Ida Rubinstein, and Nadia Boulanger; the family life of the Stravinskys; Vera de Bosset Stravinsky; Robert Craft; his own career in music.
