Ownership: Owned c. 1700 by Desiree Chemin. R.L. Stuart collection (no. 13870), bequeathed 1892.
Content: 1-line gold initials on red and blue fields. 2-line and 4-line blue initials on gold fields. Red, blue and gold linefillers. Rubrics. Partial and full (around miniatures) border decoration showing leaves, vines and flowers.
Content: 16 long lines per page, ruled in light red pencil, prickings visible.
Content: 24 illustrations of seasonal activities in calendar, ff. 2-13v. 2 full-page miniatures, ff. 49 and 54.
Content: A leaf appears to be missing between ff. 13 and 14 -- stub remains and text begins mid-sentence.
Content: De Ricci dates this to the fifteenth century, Dr. Guest to the mid-15th century.
