Content: Guest says late 14th or early 15th century. Pratesi, in ref to watermark: "Quel marchio specifico risalirebbe al 1470 ma il tipo e` attestato a Fabriano dal 1424 e personalmente limiterei la datazione della copia in esame alla prima meta del secolo." (63)
Content: F. Pratesi: unlike most medieval books of chess problems, is not strictly organized by # of moves. Identifies exemplar as a ms of the type "Civis Bononiae." Gives specific information on the copying and unusual organization of this collection (65-6).
