Ownership: Initials W.M. and M. and the motto "Fors vous" in the borders of the ms. Collection of Henry D. Seymour and Alfred Seymour. Courtland Bishop; his sale, American Art Assoc. - Anderson Galleries, (New York, 1938), Pt. II, no. 1426 for Spencer.
Content: 1- and 2-line white initials on red and gold background. Larger gold initials on fields colored green, purple, etc. Border designs, rubrics, pale yellow daubs as placemarkers, linefillers.
Content: 13 long lines per page, ruled in red ink. Some catchwords visible, written in same script as text, or in cursive. Quaternions the norm.
