Description
Pen drawings on almost every page of altars, monuments, statues etc. (essentially tomb architecture; most contain human and animal figures.) Drawings often show only the left or right half of a given monument, next to the opposite half of another monument. Text appears as labels or inscriptions on these drawings, or as notes. Although drawings are quite complete, is has been suggested that it is a sketchbook, or (less likely) the book an architect might show to customers choosing a monument.
