Content: [Sa Jung Chun] This Palace was used for the Kings private audiences and other governmental activities. It was originally built in 1395, destroyed by Japanese invaders in 1592, and rebuilt in 1867. [49] [Su [Soo] Jung Chun] This was the site of the famous royal library known as Jip Hun Chun (1395-1592), where the best members of the literary group congregated to advise the King. It was destroyed in 1592 and rebuilt in 1867. In 1894 the emergency national and military council met here to plan reforms in the government. This Palace was used for cabinet meetings from January 11, 1895, to early part of 1869. [50]
