Content: 64 photographs, many taken by Claire Holt in 1938, of dance, architecture, and antiquities from the Indonesian island of Nias. Other photographers include Hans Evert, Jaap Kunst, and the Volkslenfuur, Batavia (Jakarta).
Content: The women's dance Fanari mögö, Fanari möyö, Fanari ndramatua, Fanona, and Mogaele are represented, as are the men's dances Faluya zanökö, Fatele, Fahombe, Mamualo, Maluaya, and other war dances.
