Notes
Content: Written on border: "Sept. 1, 1910" Figures numbered. Printed on border: "Designs by Mrs Ralston: with drawings by Maude Stokes." Printed on image: "5559 -- Chiffon cloth over sheer net would be charming for the pretty waist above." "5556 -- This waist would be lovely in one of the open weaves of marquisette, with frills of the same, relieved by velvet, over a China silk foundation." "5566 -- Choose silk-and-wool crêpe for the pretty waist on the left, with the yoke of the same material, but white." "5562 -- The waist above, made of a striped silk, may be worn in the morning as well as in the afternoon." "5564 -- Two materials - cloth and silk - would combine prettily in this waist, the heavier one possibly matching the skirt." "5554 -- In this waist net and silk are used attractively, making a waist of light weight to wear with a cloth suit in the afternoon." Includes additional text.
