Content: Written on border: "Aug. 24, 1907" Printed on border: "The Menzies Shoe Company Detroit, Michigan" "If you are looking for boys' shoes that are so made they will stand almost any amount of hard usage, buy the American boy shoes. These shoes are made of a specially treated leather. Treated by a process of our own, known as the Menz 'ease' elk process. Makes leather soft and pliable as a glove; and no matter how often wet will dry out as it was originally. Shoes illustrated above are but two of many styles which may be had in four colors of leather. Black, olive, tan, pearl." Includes additional text.
