Content: Printed on border: "in fact be said to be rather too large, for at its lower extremity it is hard to think of it as a lake at all. It is thirty-seven miles in length, an opens out to a width of about fifteen miles between Peschiera and Desenzano, and is exposed to almost constant winds.
