Content: Summary: Each of the 4 verses and chorus humorously describe a state which the narrator no longer has. 1) He enjoyed his boyhood friends but no longer has them; 2) he had a watch and chain from his father but no longer has it; 3) As a prospector he gained wealth but no longer has it; 4) He brought a friend to meet his wife, but no longer has her as the friend and wife have fallen for one another.
Content: On cover: Introduced with unbounded success by the only Wm. Hoey in a grand revival of Evans and Hoey's A parlor match. Cover includes a full-length photograph of William Hoey in costume.
