Description
Costume for a girl in Mordkin's ballet for the Mikhail Mordkin Russian Ballet Company. Drawing depicts girl posed, arms slightly outstretched holding a wide scarf adorned with green, leaf-like designs. She wears a cropped brown jacket which connects to a low-slung, layered skirt via a string of beads (crossing her bare midriff). The custom is elaborately adorned and colored brown, magenta, and gold. The dancer is further adorned with a prominent magenta and gold headpiece and bracelets on her arms and wrists.
