Description
Rather fanciful reconstructions of ancient Greek weapons, drawn from evidence supplied by contemporary sculptures. Numbers indicate: 1. Greaves, or metal shinguards. 2. Sandal and greave. 3. Club made from a slice of a tree trunk fixed to a handle. 4., 5. Swords. 6. Short- and long-handled battle axes. 8. Archer with composite (recurved) bow. 9. Archer with bow and arrow. 10. Arrow or dart. 11. Bow case for bow and arrows.
