Content: Written at bottom of image: "The Pharaoh Sesostris in his war-chariot destroying the enemy. (...) End of the 3rd and 4th fronts of the second obelisk of Luxor. Still in place before the Palace of Rhamses III."
Content: Pharaoh is shown at the center in his chariot, shooting arrows and leading his army. "Asiatic" enemy chariots with three men aboard face right, while Egyptian chariots with two-man crews face left. All around the pharaoh are dying enemies whom he has shot full of arrows. At the lower right a Sherden mercenary (part of the Egyptian army) in a horned helmet and beard stabs an opponent.
