Content: Patches of heavy foxing down center fold and throughout image. Minerva (Greek name Athena), goddess of wisdom and righteous war, holds a crested helmet and spear. Mercury (Hermes to the Greeks), the messenger of the gods, is dressed for traveling in a cloak, broad-brimmed hat (here hanging from its cord down his back) and boots of spotted hide.
