Content: Printed on mount: "Views on the estate of the late Henry E. Huntington - These are the latest pictures of the beautiful estate of the late Henry E. Huntington, capitalist, railroad executive and art patron who died in Philadelphia, May 5th. The $20,000,000 library known as the Huntington Foundation and his invaluable art collection at San Marino, near Pasadena CA will now be turned over to the state. Drawing lavishly upon his immense fortune, variously estimated at between $50,000,000 and $100,000,000 the late philanthropist gathered one of the finest private collections of English and American literature and art treasures in the world. Visitors at the 500 acre Huntington Estate were few, including only persons of high rank and personal friends. His gifts of land for public development in and around Los Angeles ran into millions of dollars."
