Description
Interview with Peter Martins, recorded during his visit to Connecticut to dance in Michael Uthoff's Romeo and Juliet with the Hartford Ballet. In addition to discussing his participation in that ballet, Martins talks about George Balanchine and the "unsentimental" nature of his ballets, his own student years in Denmark, fine points of executing ballet steps such as the entrechat, his choreographic process and his perception of the relationship of music and dance, and his dream of having his own dance company.
