Content: Contains music selections used for Merce Cunningham's Crises (1960). The original study nos. 3 and 4 were never commercially recorded; study no. 7 was edited in a variety of ways for Crises.

Sound quality is poor as there is a low hum, recording interference and "hiss" throughout the recording; at times the recording volume of the piano is low.
