Biographical/Historical: "Strivin!" was written, directed, and choreographed by Al Fann, with music by Chip Fields, for the Al Fann Theatrical Ensemble. It was described by New York Amsterdam News as "an historical and panoramic view of Negro greats in the sports world" (March 1, 1975).
