Description
Mikhail Baryshnikov is honored by many prominent persons associated with the Nixon Center, Richard Nixon Foundation, and Nixon Administration. In his responding speech, Baryshnikov expresses gratitude for the award and advocates the importance of financial support of the arts by the government. An excerpt from a choreographic production of Bulgakov's Master and Margarita is performed by dancers from the Washington based Classika-Synetic Theater.
