Tory Dobrin discusses how the Ballets Trockadero was established in 1974; Eugene McDougle's involvement in the company since its inception; how dancers are chosen for the company; the differences between female and male ballerinas; how dancers are chosen for roles and developing those roles; how the repertory is selected and how older works with tutus lend themselves to satire; and being obsessed with the classical style which presents humor.
