Venue: Taped in performance at the Mark Hellinger Theater, New York, on March 1, 1986, for the Jerome Robbins Archive with the assistance of a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York State Council on the Arts. Conception, direction, scenic design and costumes by Claudio Segovia and Hector Orezzoli. Lighting by Claudio Segovia.
Creation/production credits: Choreographed and danced by Juan Carlos Copes and María Nieves, Nélida and Nelson, Virulazo and Elvira, Gloria and Eduardo, Mayoral and Elsa María, The Dinzels, and María and Carlos Rivarola. Solo dancer: Naanim Timoyko.
Performers: Singers: Raúl Lavié, Jovita Luna, Elba Berón, and Alba Solís. Musicians: Sexteto Mayor, including José Libertella, Luis Stazo, Mario Abramovich, Eduardo Walczak, Oscar Palermo, and Osvaldo Aulicino. Also Orlando Tripodi, Oscar Rubén González, Rodolfo Fernández, Juan Schiaffino, Dino Carlos Quarleri, and Hector Siva.
Funding: Preservation of this video was supported by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.
