Creation/Production Credits: Choreography: George Balanchine. Music: John Philip Sousa, adapted and orchestrated by Hershy Kay. Scenery/lighting: David Hays. Costumes: Karinska.
Content: Performed by the New York City Ballet. Cast includes Deni Lamont (Third Regiment), Violette Verdy and John Clifford (Liberty Bell and El Capitan). Technical problems during Verdy's and Clifford's solos and part of finale.
Funding: Preservation of this video was supported by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.
