Abstract

Wendy Perron interviews Al Carmines who describes his early involvement with the Judson Dance Theater as a musician and a minister, and how the Judson Church was affected by dance. Sally Banes interviews Deborah Hay who tells of her early dance training with her mother, her work at the Henry Street Playhouse with Bill Frank, and her involvement with the Judson Dance Theater.
