Abstract

Documentary on the dancer-choreographer Margie Gillis, who talks about making and performing her dances. Additional comments are offered by her manager Jack Udashkin. She is seen in rehearsal and performance excerpts with dancers Stephanie Ballard and Louis Guillemette, and cellist Eugene Friesen; and in conference with Udashkin and designer Darcia Labrosse. Among the dances performed are Waltzing Matilda, Nocturne (choreography: Martha Clarke), and Someone missing.
