"Concerto with James Conlon," program 2 (28 min.) of this recording, presents concert works as a musical conversation that conveys emotions and feelings. Conlon, leading the orchestra at the 11th anniversary of Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, with Ioudenitch at the piano, explores Tchaikovsky's 1st piano concerto during rehearsals and the final performance.
