Description
Yvonne Rainer rehearses segments of "After Many A Summer Dies the Swan" with White Oak Dance Project. This sequence includes excerpts from Rainer's previous works ("Chair/Pillow" and "Talking Solo") and a working discussion with Mikhail Baryshnikov. Rainer's directions to the dancers are sometimes obscured by an offscreen conversation. Labelled "bad quality"; all but the final two minutes of this recording are well-lit, in focus, and in proper color range. The final two minutes lose brightness and appear almost blue in tone.
